.NET/C# bindings ?

Hi,

I was wondering if bindings for .NET/C# already exist for ParticleUniverse. I'd like to use this fine plugin for a Mogre/C# based engine and, as most programmers :), I'm a lazy guy who hates reinventing the wheel.

I'm thinking of creating the bindings myself if nobody has already done it. This would also be a good step to creating a .NET based editor/viewer for ParticleUniverse.

I've already compiled/linked the plugin for Mogre, but, missing the proper bindings, I can't access any functions from C# directly.

this program does a pretty impressive attempt at converting c++ to c#. The demo is quite limited though

Thanks Vectrex, but I'm not talking about porting the project to C#, I just need bindings to access the most important functions from C#. Using Particle Universe as a C++ plugin for Ogre is perfectly ok for me as long as I can use it from my .NET code.

I'll write a small wrapper using C++/CLI for the most common tasks like create, start/stop, etc., so I can use Particle Universe in a Mogre based game. I'll decide later, maybe in some weeks, if I'll release the code to the public. It depends on how much interest is shown in the bindings and how clean I can implement it into a reusable module.

*rise RIIIISE dead thread*
I'm still very interested in any .net bindings. We've basically switched to MOgre for most things and it's very very nice. Of course you don't get some cool things like PU automatically.

Into my engine,i have done full .net/C# port of Particle Universe,i have pinvoke wrapper of Ogre core and the rest is done in c#,as PhySX and Particle Universe,visit http://www.alimerengine.com for more info

i'm very interested for a C# Wrapper for PU... many other user will appreciate this. Someone have already did that and could share to the comunity?
